One of my favorite places to visit is Eze Village. It’s another medieval village high above the sea. It’s also home to the Relais & Chateaux, La Chevre D’Or, where Charles worked many years ago, and one of the most gorgeous hotel properties I can think of. Each room is hidden somewhere into the heart of the uphill village, amongst galleries and restaurants, and you never know which door is the entrance to a cliff-dripped ocean view hotel room or a sought-after private residence. The grounds are absolutely stunning. Here is a photo of one of the terraces at the hotel.
From Eze Village, we popped over to Monte Carlo for a coffee and some good people watching across from the Hotel de Paris. Check out the police station – so classy and charming. Only in Monaco.
