Hot off the Press – Brown Betty, Alison Conklin, & Two Paperdolls

A lot of great press is on the horizon so I wanted to share a few recent pieces that came out in the past few weeks.

We love NoLibs local publication, North Star so we were happy to share inside details about the new Brown Betty with them. Check out their feature on our favorite cupcake bakery! Click here to read the full story.

Alison Conklin‘s weddings are all over the blogosphere and wedding magazine-o-sphere lately and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Here are a couple of recent features of Alison’s beautiful wedding photography. Click here to see this full Junebug story about Cecilia and Neil’s beautiful nuptuals.

At Red Balloon, we’re in the business of making editorial dreams come true, for our clients as well as their clients. Joel and Adina really wanted their wedding to appear in Whirl Magazine. So we made it happen for them!

Recently, I’ve been pitching stories featuring the amazing and bespoke business cards created by the design geniuses at Two Paperdolls. Local style-watcher and journalist Caroline Tiger of Design Phan and I got to discussing the importance of having a stand-out business card. I’m a huge advocate of investing in well-designed business collateral. It’s not something I always felt really strongly about until I experienced the response I got from handing out my amazing Two Paperdolls-designed and printed business cards time and time again. Caroline poses the question to her readers. Read what she has to say and share your own thoughts here!
