Thursdays With Alex – Rompers and Florals

Hi readers! I’m back again at Red Balloon here in Philly after a tiring morning attempting to attain a visa for my semester abroad in London.  I am definitely glad to be here in the office, doing research for Red Balloon clients, brainstorming with Nicole, and writing about what I love.

Today my office look surrounds comfort and style. I knew I would not be running errands, so I wanted to be comfortable sitting in the office. Though I never pass up an opportunity to get a little dressed up. To start, I am wearing one of my favorite summer pieces, a floral romper, similar to this one from Forever21. To make my ensemble look slightly more work-appropriate, I paired it with this grey blazer by Aqua. On my feet, as embarrassed as I am to admit it, I’m wearing the same silver sandals as last week. I swear I do have other shoes, these are just so perfect for the office, and a night in the city. The outfit is easy to wear yet still makes a statement both here in the office and in the streets of Philly.

My versatile outfit choice makes it easy to turn it from day to night. Today, after my work is done in the office, I am heading out to go shopping on the town! My first stop is a store I spotted on one of my adventures into Olde City on my lunch break. Sugarcube is a little boutique on North 3rd street filled with chic pieces and a lot of charm! It’s similar to my other Philadelphia fashion finds in that the style is trendy and easy to wear, yet the antique wooden floors and bright red motorcycle planted in the middle of the store adds an edge. Here are some of the styles I will be looking for on my trip there later today.

I am obsessed with this entire outfit, even the hair!

Loving the extra-long cardigan boot combination

This looks like the perfect look for my upcoming European adventures

I can’t wait to mix and match all these pieces for my fall wardrobe.

Until next week!
